Ron Artest is Tripping

If you missed Inside the NBA last night, the interview with Ron Artest was hilarious. See link. Basically, Artest said that Brandon Roy was the best player he's ever played against (except for some guy who is now in jail)... better than Kobe and Lebron. Then he said that Charles Barkley was overrated and that Michael Jordan said he wished he coulda played against Artest when MJ was in his prime. Barkley, Kenny and CWebb's reactions were priceless...

Here's the whole show in better quality... it's towards the end (forward to 23:30). Has more reaction. http://www.nba.com/video/channels/tnt_overtime/2009/04/29/nba_20090429_insidenba.nba/index.html

  6. Those comments from Ron Ron was funny as hell, he is straight hood, the best player I played against is in jail now but around 15-16 he was unstoppable, that is just what we use to say as kids, when i was a kid my friends use to say Nintendo 8 was already out in Japan, and their dad is in the military and brought one back.

  8. jermaine o'neal has had a decent series putting up a few double doubles...he is just too old to be running around with those kids like josh...josh will make any NBAer over 30 look dumb at some point....he is an athletic freak...i wish he would perfect his offense though---in time hopefully.

jordan said he wish he could have played against me in his prime...actually after hearing jordan at is induction ceremony i think jordan did say this but it was still was random.

but you are right though kids say the darndest things...i am guessing you guys never "were allowed in the house" to play dude's nintendo 8. we had a friend that that had family in kansas (it seemed so far away back then when he would tell whoppers) and every summer he'd go there and come back with a story...once he told us a dude went up to dunk and as he was skying a guy guarding him decide to challenge the shot but jumped to too late. so the dunker finished two handed a caught the defender jumping with his legs (scissored him). the dunker was hanging on the rim with this guy hanging between his legs with his hands up posterized....then the defender looked up at the dunker and said, "man how old are you?"

and dude said , "12"....and let him go

  9. LOL dude how old are you? "12" LMAO, nah we could come over to play Nintendo 8 because he cannot have any company when his parents wasn't home. According to my friend's description, Japan and China had no laws nor rules, the hoverboat from Back To The future, it existed in Japan, and the reason it didn't exist in the US was because the US have too many rules and traffic laws, but in Asia (according to my friends) anything goes. I am trying to find that MJ video clip

  10. Hahahaha, what's crazy is my cousins had me thinking the same thing about NYC. I really used to feel that place was like Oz, where balling folks walked down streets of gold.

  11. I just watched this..... Something is wrong with Ron Artest. Did you all see where he said Roy is the only person to ever drop 40 on him? You know Kobe took that seriuosly and he is going to try and destroy Artest...
