welcome to the haters ball: HATE, HATE, HATE...
http://www.nba.com/cavaliers/news/gilbert_letter_100708.html
the majority owner of the cavs is tripping hard. i understand his frustration. he just watched millions of dollars walked thru the door. but c'mon; you as a wealthy gentleman have to be bigger than this... i have never heard an owner behave this way. i think about bret favre stringing folks along, arthur blank and the vick situation, i mean plenty of owners have felt betrayed but you man up and move on... you can't get mad because a grown man made a decision you didn't like.
again i understand the frustration.... Truth be told i think the cavs did surround lebron with good players (or make an attempt to)... they got mo will after he put together two back-to-back 17 pt 6 asts season in milwaukee, they got jamison a 20 and 8 guy for HIS CAREER, they got parker when the needed shooting a guy that avg'd 12 pts shooting 45% outside the paint, they got shaq when big z got old so those lumbering bigs could split time, they got leon powe who trashed the lakers in the postseason, they kept verrajoa whne folks were after him.... these guys are not bums. this is a team that if kobe were on would have competed stronger IN MY OPINION. i place most of the blame for the season's lapse on the coach who never got these guys to gel and play well. they never fully utilized any of the SCORING pickups in jamison and parker. parker should have been used to spread floor and jamison should have gotten way more minutes.... jamison is the kinda guy that they should have played in relief for lebron to rest lebron. there were games where verrajoa and hickson would get more minutes... that's wild to me. basically lebron on five is not a play that works consistently at the playoff level. long story short i do believe the cavs made strides which i guess is why they are upset but GROW UP and don't be delusional talking about carrying curses and winning championships and you just 50% of your scoring, 20% of your rebounding, 25% of your assists, and 50% of your defensive presence.
I MEAN THE GUY IS STILL FROM OHIO.
another thing this is a business... owners and GMs do this all the time.... alter their employees livelihood without consulting them first. please... tim legler mentioned last night he found out about getting traded on a team cruise.... i am sure they excercised decency on every occasion with lebron and consulted with lebron on every decision BECAUSE HE'S LEBRON but don't pretend like they show loyalty to everyone.

My ex-wife's wedding dress
Check out this blog… hilarious. Basically a guy started a website to get ideas on what to do with the wedding dress that his wife left behind in the divorce. Pretty funny. Grill cover, scarecrow, dish rag, gas cap, workout towel, etc…
www.myexwifesweddingdress.com
My wife of 12 years recently packed up her belongings and moved out of our home. After her car was loaded I couldn't help but notice that a single item remained in her section of our closet, her wedding dress.
"You forgot something" I told her.
She replied "And what's that?".
"Your wedding dress", I said.
"Yeah, I am not taking that" was her response.
"What do you expect me to do with it?" I asked.
And to that she replied, "Whatever the $%^@# you want".
And this is what I did.....
Help me come up with 101 uses for this dress. I have many good ones but need more to complete 101. Please submit your ideas by making a comment. Thanks.

Taking Surprising Risks For The Ideal Body
FULL STORY HERE Listen to the podcast link
The trend began in the '90s — and took people by surprise.
"Women take the chicken pills to get broader hips and bigger bottoms," says Carol's son Jason. "In our Jamaican culture, we love a girl that has a lot of shape."
"Most males, they love to see women with big bottoms. The whole idea of Coca-Cola bottle shape" Carol says. " 'I don't want a meager woman,' that's how the men would speak. ... They're figuring if you look meager, you look poor, in the sense that you're not being taken care of."
According to Carolyn Cooper, professor of literary and cultural studies at the University of the West Indies, "big bottoms" reveal power — but there are competing norms of beauty in Jamaica.
"There's a kind of anorexic, Eurocentric model of beauty," she says. "Also, a much more Afrocentric body type that is valorized."
