MOM I AM GOING PRO

Thank you for signing up to participate in the Mercury Practice Squad tryouts.

The tryouts will take place next Saturday, March 27 at US Airways Center
on the official practice court of the Mercury/Suns.



Due to an overwhelming response, we are breaking the tryouts into two groups. Your tryout time is 1-3 p.m. Please arrive by 12:45 p.m. to check-in.



PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFO:

· Parking is available free of charge in the US Airways Center garage just off Jefferson St. on 1st Street.

· Registration and entry to the tryouts will take place on the Southeast side of US Airways Center, which is located off Jackson St. next to the Bud Light Paseo. DO NOT ENTER thru the main entrance.

· Due to limited space and high participation numbers, no spectators will be allowed.

· Come ready to play. There will not be dressing rooms available. We will be providing you with a t-shirt to wear during the tryouts.

· An NBA ball will be used for the tryouts.

· You will be required to sign a waiver before participating.

· Water will be available.

· You’ll receive a boxed lunch after the tryout.

· You’ll be trying out against other men from across the Valley. Mercury head coach Corey Gaines will be taking you through a series of drills and scrimmages.

· 15-20 players will be chosen for the practice squad. The squad will be announced on Monday, March 29 on PhoenixMercury.com. Squad members will be contacted following selection with more information about participation in select Mercury practices during the 2010 training camp and season.
