Vick can play in week 3

Thoughts...

Could Damien Marley give Nas great beats to rap over

My problem with Nas' last 3-4 CDs have been the horible beat selection. It looks like Damien might be the guy that can change that for me.

Tony Romo Fan Club Draft Results

I thought I would make the season a little more interesting by starting the trash talk now. I'm calling out the ridiculous reaches that I saw on Tuesday, but hey it's your money.

Reggie Wayne end of round 2 (Ace)
-Anquan Boldin and Steve Smith were still on the board
Jason Witten end of round 4 (Ace)
-Antonio Gates will have more fantasy points than Witten, he was still on the board
-As was 85 and I would even have to consider Roy Williams

Marion Barber end of round 2 (Emeka)
-Emeka did you watch a Cowboys game last year? You know Felix is healthy right?
Ray Rice end of round 4 (Emeka)
-I know you claim the Ravens are your number 1 team but really?
-McFadden and Lendale were still there
Vincent Jackson beginning of round 5 (Emeka)
- 85 was taken 1 pick later... chiald please (unless you purposely left him for me)

Jamal Lewis mid round 6 (Kenya)
This is because Cedric Benson was taken at the end of round 6
-Old ass Jamal Lewis over Cedric Benson?

Felix Jones end of round 4 (Trevor)
-I know he returns kicks but he's still the 2nd option
Chicago D beginning of round 7
-Are you sure the Bears D has improved since last year? No major additions....

Ronnie Brown mid 2nd round (Angel)
-He must not know Brown had 5 TDs in 1 game last year...
Brandon Marshall beginning of the 4th (No Fan of Romo)
-If he's traded his stats are shot as Roy Williams were
-If not I'm going with 85 or Braylon Edwards before him this year
Matt Ryna end of round 5 (SMASHMOUTH)
-Maybe it's cuz I don't like the guy...

Trey gave us all an example of why not to autopick
BoweInThe3rdRd?
1. (11) Clinton Portis
2. (14) Steve Slaton
3. (35) Dwayne Bowe
4. (38) Kurt Warner
5. (59) Roy Williams
6. (62) Darren McFadden
7. (83) Anthony Gonzalez
8. (86) Kellen Winslow
9. (107) Philadelphia
10. (110) Rob Bironas
11. (131) Eli Manning
12. (134) Sammy Morris
13. (155) Deion Branch
14. (158) Earnest Graham
15. (179) Jeremy Maclin

Ace I understand why you couldn't pass on Peterson. We would never let you live that down if you picked Forte instead and he has a so so year. Already discussed your 2nd favorite player Jason Witten...

Emeka nice pickup with Rodgers in the 3rd but do you really think MJD, Barber and Rodgers are better picks than DeAngelo Williams, C Johnson and Anquan? I'm just sayin you could have had MJD/Williams with C Johnson and Rodgers... I know you're not big on Q but he'll outscore Barber.

Trevor your team looked like a beast through 3 rounds, then you picked Felix about a round early. But Turner, Manning and Steve Smith was good.

As you would expect my team is the shit.... I don't do low risk. Would you like to kiss the baby now or wait til next Thursday?

pacman in the CFL?

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4436703

is this a good move?

i got to thinking of all the money he cost himself acting up (see previous articles below)?

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2832015

http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/nfl/2008-04-23-jones-trade_N.htm

go back in time a little, he could have made over $6 mill easy over 3 yrs with the titans had he made different choices (maybe a pay raise if he played better). instead he ends up paying the team half a mill, being suspended thus costing you money, and taking a pay cut to go to dallas. and now he is in tHe CFL.....this is why it is important to act right (not to mention the legal fees). life could have been so different....not to mention if you behave people may pay you past your prime because you are a "leader" on the team (look at the NE LBs). i just think its unfortunate.

Hate It Or Love It: A Hip Hop Analysis Of Drake

http://www.hiphopdx.com/index/columns-editorials/id.1398/title.hate-it-or-love-it-a-hip-hop-analysis-of-drake/p.1

Saw this link while looking at Smoking section this afternoon, & it's pretty interesting. Basically, they're calling Drake a "hip-hop industry" creation designed to appleal more to mainstream folks. Almost like "The Great White Hype".

I don't know, i kinda see where they're coming from since Drizzy clearly has benefited from the Wayne co-sign, the R&B singing & hooks & looks (this broad told me he looked delectable), the lack of a young emerging superstar. All of that being said though, I feel that he's nice and he can spit. He also crafts better R&B than everybody out but Maxwell lately, which makes him a double threat for good music.

What do y'all think?
