folks are really upset about the colts resting players and losing...

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4776421

i have no problem with this... if peyton or wayne or bethea anyone gets hurt then everyone calls in with the opposite feeling. i think you play your guys to a certain extent so that they don't lose their rhythm but other than that....

if they win it all he will be loved like coughlin in NY (eveyone hated coughlin and questioned his system constantly until he won). if they lose first post season game everyone will blame the time off... the outcome does not determined the integrity of the decision.

the only people that can be upset are fantasy football players and gamblers... get over it.

  1. I agree, people are trippin. It's funny the Patriots made a big deal out of it, the Saints acknowledged they wanted it but the Colts just don't care. I think it makes sense. The injuries are an issue but also do you want that pressure on your team? Peyton will be fine but the defense already has enough pressure on it. And the Colts are already viewed as postseason underacheivers.

  2. can u really go a month without truly going after winning, then expect to win 3 str8 playoff games? seems iffy to me... I don't understand why they played any in the 3Q if they were going to be benched while UP in the game. Why start the 2nd half then pull the guys halfway through????

  3. This is most certainly not the end for Indy. And for all of the fanatic Colt fans, they are too caught up to understand the bigger picture. At first I too didn't understand the decision to bench players with 5 minutes left into the 3rd quarter; the timing of it all is perhaps what I find most bizarre for Caldwell. But the decision to bench his starters I see nothing wrong with and letting the 2nd or 3rd string players participate I believe will payoff. What has been destined for them has already been written we have yet to see this unfold.
