i have females friends that think this is a publicity stunt solely...
i don't know... don't know these people... i think famous people are just quicker to marry because divorce is costly but won't break them... alot of "normal" use marriage to weed out more people for more serious options out of the shear fear of divorce i.e. raising kids as divorced couple, court costs, schild support, alimony. but if you are already paid who cares really (you can throw money at these problems so marriage is an extension of dating)... not to mention this girl is rich (maybe moreso than lamar) so at least you can cross off/out the notion that she wants you for your money (which is huge for these guys seeking a mate)...
Evidently during Laker Media Day, he said the following: "At media day for the Lakers this week, reporters asked Lamar Odom why he married reality star Khloe Kardashian so quickly. After all, they had known each other for only a month, after Ron Artest -- Odom's new teammate who once started the biggest melee in basketball history -- introduced them at a nightclub. Seemed a little hasty. Not according to Odom.
"I've been in L.A. for 10 years," Odom explained to a local radio show. "I've never had a problem meeting women. … Whether a woman works at Burger King or she was a model that we all know by name, it never was a problem. But I finally met the one that I knew if I had lost her, it would hurt the most.""
Just seems awfully quick though...hopefully they work out.
