jordan has been accused of being petty in his speech (having a chip on his shoulder). I thought it was perfect and ya'll know i grew up knicks fan. I just wish he would have added that he got dunked on by starks....
he mentioned riley, pippen, starks, jordan stoppers, van gundy, his tarheel alums, byron russell, doug collins, being hard on his teammates, media naysayers, and being "frozen out by magic, the iceman, and zeke". i had no idea what this was about but maybe this is what folks are calling petty.
i thought the fire metaphor was fitting... its is funny though he thinks he can still play. i don't think he can come off the bench today.... can he really run with these dudes today (regular dude like rudy gay will torch him)....it will be interesting to see other players interact with him and take it easy on him out of awe.

ReplyDelete- Jordan was famously frozen out by those 3 during his 1st all-star game. I think they were upset that a rookie got the start.
thanks.... i had no clue what they were talking about. i bet now they wish they had handled it a little differently... that wood they put on top of the fire might of cost magic and zeke an extra ring. technically only zeke could have really done this as the other guys were on the western team...right?
