So many thoughts ran through my head when I saw this. I know the major points about his career, but there is a lot I don't know.
ReplyDeleteIt's crazy that he is the last Kennedy brother to pass and the only one whose life wasn't cut extremely short. And he died of brain cancer.
Not trying to take anything away from this lost, but I kind of thought Obama was planning on using Ted, as a Ace in the deck to help get things passed, with Ted gone I am wondering if he is concerned
ReplyDeleteWhat better timing than this... Healthcare was Teddy's long career battle to reform and a topic that motivated him for 40 odd years in Congress. If anything his passing refuels the drive & importance to get a qualified/legitimate healthcare Bill passed hopefully by the end of the calendar year.
