is jerry west a traitor?

no...not really but we have to take his comments seriously as one fo the greatest players, greatest GMs and greatest scouts of talent....

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4178437

also his answer to "how he woudl fair in today's game" is intereststing

also we saw this weekend a former player name his fave 5 big shot takers (clutch): airness, bird, reggie, chauncey, and robert horry.....personally jerry west and magic should replace the last 2 guys (if they were talking threes i replace magic with ray allen)

  2. i am still going with the lakers...their battle with the rockets reminds me of the trek the celts took to win and everyone questioned them because they went 7 games with inferior teams....EVERYONE IS BIG ON DENVER but the nuggets were one cheating ass play away from a 7 game series...i mean really....

the nba will make this bron.kobe title bout happen though...nothing but injury, earthquakes, nuclear war is going to stop this

  3. also notice he said he would still want kobe to take the last shot....this is interesting everyone sort of feels this way....

was there a point where everyone was like jordan is better than bird, magic, and isiah but i would rather the later 3 take the shot....

  4. Is this supposed to be motivation for Kobe? I understand what he is saying, Kobe can't go all out anymore. As Skip Bayless has pointed out many times Kobe had no off-season, he's been balling for 2 straight years with no real time off.

Lebron won't really be better than Kobe until he is clutch or he makes sure that there is no need for him to be clutch in the playoffs. This will always be the "but" against Lebron. But this year he picked up his defense, if he takes that same approach maybe next year he'll be clutch.

Side note, maybe Lebron will take not of how Kobe is starting to slow down after 13 seasons and train in water so he can stave off his decline.... He is in year 6
