Yeah, that was a great accomplishment for a young team that was considered "The B Team" and was not expected to win at all. I can't believe it's been 16 years since the last US win.
even being a b team we should always win... we could send a d team (ty lawson, montae ellis, robin lopez, darren collison, josh smith, gerald wallace, oj mayo, bynum, nick collison, jeff green, lamarcus aldridge, al jeffereson; this team is better than any team that has rudy fernandez, barbosa, carlos arroyo, kleiza as its BEST PLAYERS) and win.... no one in the world have the depth we have.... i never understood why team usa doesn't full court press the entire game considering that hand checking is allowed in euro ball... if i were coaching i'm sure i would get run out like terry porter trying to get the suns to play d or no euro team would be able to get the ball over half court.
