According to a person who spoke with wedding attendee Amar'e Stoudemire(notes), Paul made the reference during a speech of a potential union of himself, Stoudemire and Anthony, saying, "We'll form our own Big 3," Paul allegedly said.

Wow, that would be ridiculous but that would tip the shine off the west coast conference now wouldn't it....
ReplyDeleteNow that Miami has resigned Udonis Haslim and we now have Mike Miller I feel sorry for the rest of ya'll team.
Hmm... This would make the East a lot more interesting. The better big 3 would be determined by chemistry. Talent wise Miami would be better, but if Paul and Melo could get D'Antoni and Amar'e to focus on defense they would have a shot...

ReplyDeletethat would be nice but i dnot see it happening... do those three in ny care about their legacy and winning as much as the 3 in miami... mainly bron and wade are the only ones i see concerned about winning out of the 6 guys here.... we'll see....
ReplyDeleteone thing is maybe the rest of the league will say competing is a little more important than just getting paid.... for teh next yr, folks will only be concerned with two teams (lakers and heat with a little celtics thrown in).
