"foul on you"

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/playoffs/2010/news/story?id=5144707

if you hadn't heard dwight's teammates in practice nicknamed him "foul on you"...

but what's comical about this story is how he prefaces his statements like he doesn't want to get in trouble with the league but goes on to ask for favortism from officials by calling himself a star player..... folks needs to be more careful with respect to the nba and players getting the "star treatment." i heard phil say something similar about durant....

shouldn't they be trying to squash every notion that some players get star treatment considering the donaghy situation... i mean i know its obvious that kobe can play double the minutes as peitrus and probably foul out at a rate significantly lower but the league doesn't need to be advertising this notion.

  1. I would expect for the best players to get the calls, it's always been like that in any sport. Peyton Manning/Tom Brady will generate a roughing the passer call for a much lighter hit than somebody like Matt Lineart. I really don't see a problem with Dwight asking for the star treatment that a 3 time DPOY should get...he also needs to look at the man in the mirror because he deserved some of those fouls he got in the bobcats series.
