Kobe by Bill Simmons

B4 Otis tried to rip my head off, Kobe is what he is. A very selfish basketball player (will never forgive him for the 1 on 4 BS at the end of game 3) who's a prick and an asshole off the court. That boy sure can play basketball though!

    My problem with this is Jordan was pretty much the same way. I doubt Jordan was thinking "Oh we won our 6th title." Nah he was like I won my 6th title, thanks Scottie, Phil and everybody for assisting me. The media kills Kobe for trying being just like Mike, but they never killed Mike for being Mike.

    plain and simple mike was first so he is the reference and can/did no wrong...contrarily everyone behind him can do no right.

    i like how he hinted at the fact that this title due to the injuries suffered by boston desevres an * but congrats to kobe on capatilizing on poor competition...sort of like houston beating orlando
