Jay Cutler is no longer defendable

Ok some of you have questioned why I have cut Jay Cutler so much slack regarding his situation in Denver. I have now gotten to the point that I am not defending Cutler, he is officially a hormonal, e-imbalanced, shaggy haired punk.

He has now said that he didn't want things to get this far and he loves Denver and his teammates. So basically he was pulling what Patrick Ewing pulled with the Knicks, except Ewing got the Knicks to the finals......
Before these comments I was backing Cutler due to the disrespect, but now that I see this was all about ego stroking and not more about loyalty I'm done.

I don't want to respond to harshly, but Jay Cutler is in danger of having the same amount of credibility as Jason Garrett.....

  1. it's one thing to speak up for yourself which is rare from NFL players....THAT SHOULD BE APPLAUDED. this dude has taken it a weeeee bit far. hard to believe a dude loved his teammates and the fans but has had his house (and parents denver residence) up for sale IN THIS ECONOMY since their fallout. don't request a trade via your agent and then say i never wanted to be traded or for things to get this far. learn from jay & the broncos... business should rarely (never) be done over text message (especially when you are on bad terms) unless you absolutely have to; leave that to personal issues which according to steve harvey is debatable...

  2. I've been waiting for this post for a while:
    1. You (Cutler) are not Peyton Manning or Tom Brady, there is no place for you to believe that you're above being traded. He's acting like a hairless pussy for throwing a temper tantrum about "OMG, I can't believe you wanted to trade me."
    2. You (and your agent) were the 1st person that demanded for a trade!!! Then, you repeated your trade demands in the "come to jesus" meeting y'all had a couple of weeks ago. It's clear that he's wanted out, and he's in a full PR spin mode currently.
    3. How does he think that the way he's acting helps his trade value at all, clearly Denver is not going to cut him. The only way he leaves is if Denver gets their price (2 1st round picks).
    4. It's a big boy league.
    5. Please John Fox and Marty Hurney, don't trade for this sniveling piece of shit!

  3. I think the real question is, do you want Jay Cutler on your team? He's shown to be as emotionally fragile as the media claims TO to be. Can a team win with a QB like that?
