This is ignorant. It is just as ignorant as people in this country trying to blame crime on Black people or Hispanics. Yes a disproportionately high number of the bankers responsible for the financial crisis are White. But you can't say White people are to blame for this, that's incendiary, inaccurate and bigoted.
If a White person went on TV and said something like this they would be crucified. This guy could have easily thrown multiple punches: Ivy League educated Born with a silver spoon and privileged Elitist Greedy Don't care about common people
He could have even thrown in code words to say White people (which still would have been inappropriate). But maybe this is how the Brazilian President gets on TV, because I have never seen or read anything about him and Brazil is a major developing economy......
