memphis grizzlies signed AI
please ignore what's humilty as i know you are geeked about football to the point that no other sport exists now.... but i thought the answer signing with mmephis is interesting after listening to PTI because of two points:
AI says he won't mind coming off the bench behind conley and mayo....i find this interesting considering this is the main reason why he was ousted in detroit (also money) and these guys are worst presumably than the ones he was benched for in detroit.
i forgot this team has zach randolph (ultimate great but never win with player).... i mean can mayo, AI, gay and zach coexist...PTI called them an and 1 team.... they have talent to compete.... i would start AI, mayo, gay, zach, and marc gasol.... that is a nice squad talent wise but can this work..... look at their roster... they have underrated stud marcus williams on the bench; he is better than conley; why won't anyone find minutes for this dude.

Ellis Lankster Worse Stutter Ever Recorded!!!
I'm amazed at how far he's gotten
This video clearly shows that this player isn't ready for the press and needs serious help on his public speaking skills. This is why its important to make sure you read to your children and take them to the library. I do that with my nieces.

Not Sure About Rooting for the Cowboys
Background:Understand the Cowboys are the 1 team I have consistently rooted for. I mostly root for players and who they happen to be playing for. I liked the Sixers back when Iverson was there (and I actually watched ball), I liked the Falcons when Vick was there. This is the fault of Jerry Reinsdorf (owner) and Jerry Kraus (former GM) to old guys who destroyed the greatest dynasty ever. This would be the Chicago Bulls led by His Airness, Scottie and Phil. Ever since then it's been about the players except with the Cowboys. I've been a TO fan dating back to the playoff catch against Green Bay in which TO promptly checked for his earring and cried tears of joy. So TO plus the Cowboys made me the fan that you all have seen.
Issue:
I have had mixed feelings about the Cowboys since they parted was with TO back in the spring. As you all know I don't believe TO was the problem. Fast forward to the beginning of the season and I now must make a decision. Root for the Cowboys and possibly have to listen to everyone (especially Ace) talk about how much better things are without TO. Or I can root against the Cowboys and talk shit about all the problems the team failed to address.
For background here are the issues:
No coaching leadership (not addressed)
No QB leadership (not addressed)
Turnover prone QB (not addressed)
Bad defensive play calling (addressed)
Bad offensive play calling (not addressed)
"Chemistry issues" (supposedly addressed)
I maintain that the only reason TO was let go is because Jason Garrett didn't get a head coaching job. His contract is more than Jerrv Jones wants to buy out. If Garrett leaves Jones could have fired Wade Phillips and only been on the hook for 1 year's salary. Then he could have brought in a real coach. Even Ace was salavating at the thought of Mike Shanahan leading the Cowboys.
But anyway I offer what will be the real reasons the Cowboys succeed, if in fact they do.
1. Tony Romo dumped Jessica Simpson (this is not a joke)
2. Romo isn't fumbling and throwing horrible INTs, especially in the 4th quarter
3. Jason Garrett actually makes changes to his offensive scheme from year to year
4. Felix Jones stays healthy
5. The offensive line stays healthy
6. The defense doesn't get destroyed
7. Miles Austin'09 is a better #2 than Roy Williams'08
None of these things have anything to do with TO but we all know ESPN, specifically Skip Bayless, Uncle Tom Jackson, Sheshawn, Chris Carter and Jaws, Chris Collinsworth, Ace and a lot of other folks will place any Cowboys success on the fact that TO is gone. Doesn't matter if the Cowboys become the Ravens and win with defense it will still be because TO isn't there. I'm a Cowboys fan but I can't root for that because it's just not right and people are stupid enough to believe it.
So maybe I'll be like Emeka and root for multiple teams. I'm not going to be a frontrunner though. This also creates a problem because I dislike something about every team. I like the Bengals because of 85 and Marvin Lewis but Carson is overrated and Mike Brown is the cheapest owner in the league. The Chargers are nice but Merriman's dance is annoying and he's overrated. There's always the Ravens (gotta love Ray) and the Colts cuz Manning is the best QB/Off Coordinator in the league and they have 2 Howard alums on their team, Bathea and Hardie. This will be interesting.
