Week 10 Recap

The Bengals beat the Steelers to complete the sweep of the Ravens and the Steelers this year. The should win the division, but they are only a 1.5 games ahead of Pittsburgh. It is to there advantage that Baltimore and Pitt have to play each other again. How far can the Bengals go? They haven't dominated anyone except the Bears and no one is ready to put them up there with Indy and New England. This team has improved a lot but the playoffs are a different story... They signed Larry Johnson for insurance on Benson's injury, nice hedge.

Speaking of the playoffs being a different story, and December for that matter the Cowboys lost to the Packers. I predicted this not out of spite but because it's what the Cowboys do, lose games they should win. To the Packers credit they played a good game and figured out how to keep Aaron Rodgers from getting killed. These 2 teams could end up jockying for a wild card if Dallas isn't careful. Roy Williams continues to be a bust despite putting up some big numbers the past 2 games. 2 games in over 1 full season doesn't justify a 1st, 3rd, 6th and $9M a year. Tony Romo tried to test Charles Woodson at the goaline for some reason. What's up wtih Romo testing #1 corners in the endzone? Woodson played a ridiculous game by the way matched up against Jason Witten. 9 tackles, 1 sack, 2 forced fumbles and 1 INT.

The Eagles lost to the Chargers, not too surprising really. The Chargers seem like they have figured out how to play football earlier than they did last year. What are they going to do in the playoffs though? If they aren't going to rely on the run then stop relying on the run now and learn how to throw 50 times a game. The Eagles need to figure out who they want to be, if they get it together they can still win the division.

The Saints barely beat the Rams, and I do mean barely. The Rams ran a play to try and win the game with seconds left and if they converted they would have won the game. The Saints are the shakiest 9-0 team I can ever remember. Maybe they need a loss to get back to the way they were ballin earlier this season.

The Cardinals beat the Seahawks at home, no big deal except they almost didn't. But that's the Cardinals. Anquan had over 100 yards for the 1st time this season, talk is the team is "fed up" with him and he will be gone in the offseason. I'm calling it right now, that is not a good idea. I hope they do trade him so he can get paid, I can see a team paying him $5-$6M a year. Where will he go, I'll have to think about that. He is from Florida though... First thought says Miami, not Tampa or Jacksonville (which may be LA).

VY led the Titans to their 3rd straight win over the Bills. Since he became the starter his passer rating hasn't been below 90. There are still 7 games left but it looks like VY is on his way to winning his job back. I wanted to see him go somewhere else where an owner would actual surround him with more than a great RB. TO popped off on the sidelines, it looked like everybody was on a different page in that instance so it's understandable. That team is horrible, their offense is beyond horrible, I can understand why he popped off.

The Redskins beat the Broncos... This is the team I have been waiting for. I know Kyle Orton got hurt, but they got lucky on their early scores anyway. How often do you get 2 ridiculously blown coverages in the 1st quarter? At 6-3 they are falling fast. I think the Chargers are going to win the AFC West.

And the decision of the year, Bill Belicheck going for it on 4th & 2 from his own 28 yeard line with just over 2 minutes to go in the 4th quarter up by more than a field goal. Even though he doesn't believe in his defense, it's still a stupid call. I thought the game was over when Randy Moss caught the TD in the 3rd. I turned the game off and turned Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on... Jim Caldwell deserves credit for finding ways to get it done with that defense that wasn't great to begin with and is now suffering through injuries to 75% of it's starters. Shout out to Antoine Bethea, "the real HU, the Mecca, Howard University"

Vikings beat the Lions, Stafford still sucks.
Chiefs beat the Raiders. Jockeying for #1 pick next year.
Jay Cutler threw 5 INTs and single-handedly lost to the 49ers on Thursday.
Jacksonville beat the Jets, no more talking from the Jets.
Miami beat the Bucs
Atlanta lost to Carolina, that Matt Ryan sophomore slump has arrived

  1. first i think in the next intro the colts have on sunday night, bethea should say, "the real HU, the mecca, howard university bisons or buffs depending on your perspective, washington dc, chocolate city, the capital".

pretty good synopisis... i guess i have to start coming around on the bumgals as well... and carson too. can't front he is playing well.

belichek is retarded for over thinking the 4th down. if you don't believe in your d why jeopardize putting them in a 30 td drive situation vs a 70 yd drive situation.... he over thought this simple "dilemna". even if you convert the first you have to get a another and maybe another. does he think he is that high school coach that trev put on here earlier... this ain't madden.

i think the chargers should try to establish the run even if its painful and ineffective... that's ultimately what plagues philly from being taken seriously... everyone knows they don't want to run.

VY is having a nice outing... imagine if he started the whole season... obviuosly they would not be undefeated but 6-3 maybe...

the larry johnson thing is crazy. dude can run when he is underpaid but will he act right.

cutler is bumming it up looking. i know teh broncos are on a skid but macdanieals still looks like a genius in some respect... although i do believe that cutler needs a number one wr that won't hold, false start, and fall down causing an int in the same half... C'MON MAN!

    will the saints go undefeated?

the only tough game left is the pats and 2 medium level games with the cowgirls and dirty birds. sadly i think they have a higher chance of going undefeated in the reg than winning a playoff game... years of historical secondary rooting for the saints will probe you to think this way.

also bills fire their coach as if that is the only problem...

on a fantasy note... which chaild please 28.67 conveniently forgot, this is some bs
