What Is Wrong With Martellus Bennett? Coonery!

WHY? What is wrong with this dumbass? This guy makes Hurricane Chris rapping about Halle Berry in the Louisiana state legislature a proud moment for Black people. Why is it that young Black people have to be so stupid? Why? This is why I want to give birth control away. If I hit the lotto I'm, doing it.

This is ignorant on so many levels I can't even take the time to gather my thoughts and not ramble. This is the kind of shit that gives credence to these stereotypes and accompanying prejudices. I hope a linebacker watches that shit before a game and knocks the shit out of him and then tells his dumbass why he knocked the shit out of him. As a matter of fact DeMarcus Ware (his teammate) should do it in training camp!

I ask again WHY?!?!?!?!

  3. @Humility

First of all if you have that much of a problem with the clip why did you even post it... I see this being no different from what Chappelle did on his variety show. I grew up with a family of 5 brothers and we have had this competition before and it reminds me of how much laughing fun we had together...

I personally think, these guys were having innocent fun and never really intended on upsetting anyone with their Black Olympic eating events. Consider the setting and the atmosphere, all jokes and nothing to take to heart.

    Like T.I. said, BE Easy!!!!

  4. I posted it because this is where we discuss things, this isn't taking from obscurity and putting it on the front page. It is just as ignorant as The Chappelle show, which I didn't watch because it was coonery. How it took his dumbass 2 seasons to figure out he is a minstrel sell out is beyond me.

It's one thing to do this among your family, it's another thing to post it on the internet for all to see. I like to cut up and talk shit more than anybody but I'm not going to post everything on YouTube.

There is no evidence that this is supposed to be a joke. His past YouTube posts, his comments on Michael Irvin's show "I think it's funny" and "If this can set a race back 50 years how strong is it really" and his immature approach to football don't help his case. This reflects on Black people more than anything positive that we do at work from day to day.

Stephen Bardo, of ESPN, said on First Take he should be suspended by Roger Goodell because he represents the NFL. I don't agree with that, I do agree with the Cowboys fining him $22K. I do agree with Bardo saying some players need to handle it in house..... meaning they should beat his ass.

  5. Well, not everyone is going to interpret the Chappelle show the way I do. I already feel we have a lot more severe ignorant/coonery things happening on Black Embarrassment Television (BET), entertainment whether it be in hip-hop and or hollywood.

Martellus is a professional football player and I will say that he should stick to what he does best and leave comedy to the professionals like Jamie Foxx or Chris Tucker. But from what I understand I think he was poking fun at the stereotypes rather than African American people but arguably has been interpreted as an attack on blacks.

The problem I have is that why is it when a single black person does something it reflects entirely on blacks. But when a white person, former president W. Bush for example, you can't extend his stupidity to anyone other than himself.

Martellus behavior does not reflect on me and I can give a warm spit in a bucket what someone's opinion of me who doesn't really know me.

  6. it was kind funny because i am part of the culture, and i think its probably viewed under or outside of context of the culture.

Plus that really wasn't kool-aid that was the minute made pink lemonade, so i would have to suspend both contestants from the Olympics due to a non-sanctioned juice

  7. @What's Humility? i disagree why do we have to worry about setting us all back when we're having fun and jokes about stuff that we understand, i think its usually someone that is not black that tries to use slivers of our culture and flip it into something that pokes fun at the whole race.
