honestly i have no issues with someone being indecisive (this happens with everyone with retirement for the most part).....
but he put off bicep surgery and he is at the point where to me it seems like he doesn't like the preparation part anymore at ALL....i just don't know if you can play pro sports with "distaste" for workouts and practice....this is fine if you want to have a middle of the road career but if you want to play at the HOF level at an older age you have to tough it out thru the hard part.....he said this i believe previously..."i like playing, i don't like monday thru saturday". this is rough for his teammates (see roger clemens coming back to the yankees for the games he pitched only and k rhodes and t jones last year with bret) and since he is old he needs work harder to be in game shape....
what about tavarvis jackson?

It's time to bring in Stephen A Smith. I fully agree with what he said all last summer, people need to stop gushing over Brett Favre because they are blinded by the "legend" and can't see the old, lazy, out of shape has been for what he is (.500 playoff record, most INTs ever, horrible decision making, etc). This includes but is not limited to everyone on ESPN (especially Skip Bayless) except Stephen A and 2 other people.
ReplyDeleteHe needs to go back to the Sip and start hunting, fishing, etc.
madden may come out of retirement if bret does....madden and kornheiser i think have a shrine to him
