Did Jamie Foxx really pull that off?
Trev brought this up, I had to take it to the blog.
Jamie Foxx presented Halle Berry with the Decade of Hotness Award at Spike TV's Guy's Choice. He gave her a serious kiss that is only acceptable in public if you are taking advantage of your only chance to kiss someone like Ms Berry. He also took it a step further by grabbing Ms Berry's ass.....
Here's my question, would you have done it?
Halle Berry is so sexy....

in the stanley cups finals the second best player malkin on the penguins clearly violated a rule that warrants suspension in the next game. the commish or whomever rescinded the rule stating that upon view of game film that the intent of the rule does not apply here. see this is my problem...i think they made the right call considering money loss if this guy's suspension leads to a sweep or poor series, loss face time of this superstar, whatever. but it isn't coincidence that certain guys in the NBA don't get this consideration globally in the NBA...stern said his hands were tied in the suns-spurs series and went with the letter of the law....
some may say that "hey they rescinded dwight's technical the other night for similar reasons" neglecting the fact that dwight should only have maybe 2 techs period and he only has 5 or 6 because of the overseer/warden preemptive stance of the NBA officiating. dwight shouldn't even have half the techs he has (same thing with kobe too--he only has 2-3 real techs).

i think this is a great story as it shows you the many ways folks to resolve matters bigger than sports but obviously integrated within....i think often athletes get a bad wrap today about not caring about greater social issues (there are no incidents at the olympics DUE TO ATHLETES showmanship, there are no arthur ashes, etc...). i for one do believe times are different in that we don't need tiger woods or lebron to take up higher causes because today we have black well versed experts in those fields in high numbers (we have people semi "in school" for this)....back in the day, muhummad ali, jesse owens, jackie robinson etc. were the educated and well traveled (how many black people have left the country today yet alone in the 1920s-70s) so there experiences and clout were significantly different than the average person in the black community.
here is a dude that said i am going to do something, doesn't have to be plastered on tv, may not win, but will bring some attention to the issue especially since he can fight the fight better than his african counterparts
