Q-Tip on meeting J-Dilla



This is for Trey, i saw it on dontgetgassed.com. Tip really gave Dilla his big break by bringing them into the production for the last 2 Tribe albums. The change in Tribe's sound was why i hated on Dilla for so long, i really didn't like him changing my same ground. Now that i listen to it, it's like OMG, that dude was dope.

    this dude's ranking is on point

    this is the realness....top 5 producer all time...producer is in truest form...not all on the video with the mc in front of the camera....although thats him emceeing on these songs....look up his discrography... he did beats for q-tip, pharcyde, de la soul, common, busta, d'angelo, etc.

    i warmed on dilla listening to slum village. dude's definetly top 5 as far as rap producers.
