Like everybody else this one blind-sided me.

I am usually not a fan of Philly's ownership, whether it be not paying players, screwing TO and not supporting McNabb as much as they should. But they are doing a lot for Vick right now.

I think this makes sense from a business standpoint because none of the money is guaranteed. Plus if Vick can get back in shape he can step in if McNabb gets hurt and misses a few games which happens more often than not.

A lot of there fans are pissed, but that's to be expected with the city and state they are in.

I'm loving McNabb for this, he lobbied to bring him in. If Vick can learn from McNabb and retain a fraction of his athleticism this could be entertaining.

probably not excessive relative to suspending people ~4 games for fighting in clubs....i just feel this is why the player's union needs to push for documented punishment actions so that everyone knows the risk they are taking when they engage in certain activity.....as opposed to the commish just throwing his muscle around at a whim....
